The Unknown Adventurer NPC can be used for skipping tiers of metals, collecting ores, or getting free grips. On rare occasions with more loot than normal, they may say, 'I brought back loot.'

If the NPC succeeds, they will return with a Crate and say the line 'This is all I could find.'. If the NPC goes to either dungeon with minimum gear quality, the adventure may fail. this happens when thNPCpc comes back from the dungeon as well except they don't drop their weapons the original weapon will have varying amounts of decrease in its quality. note: if you give the NPC another weapon after the first one they will take it and drop the other one. Breaking open the box can reward you: Ore, Ingots, heated Weapon Heads, Gems, and the exclusive Socket Grip. After waiting around 2-3 days, they will bring back a box whose contents are decided by which dungeon they went to. Once they have 40 total 'Gear Quality' they will be available to be sent off to the first dungeon. If the adventurer has a two-handed weapon equipped, they can not take a shield. They currently have leather armor worth a total of 4 quality. The quality score of the weapon given adds to their 'Gear Quality' score. This NPC will accept any weapon you give them. Outside of your first shop, on the street corner, there is a female NPC labeled as 'Unknown'.
